Responsibilities: Plan and implement sales to major accounts in the apple (fruits) market, where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and account management skills are essential. Establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales programs. Supports sales management in development of sales strategies, helps identifying target accounts and opportunities within the framework of AgroFresh sales strategy. Duties & responsibilities: Key Account management: Establish personal VIP contacts with leading customers. Responsible for new business growth with existing customers and for seeking new large accounts. Provide logistical Support to serve every application in Russia (outsourced services, end-users) Organize pre-commercial trials on every new crop and country together with the Technical Manager. Participate in the launch events and wrap up sessions and commercial information to our customers. Reviewing existing product/market concepts and identifying opportunities for product improvement. Plan how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet sales targets. Monitor competitor activity in each account and ensure that, with the support of Sales, Marketing and Technical Management, appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated. Complete customers list in order to develop a strategy to reach the whole market quickly (direct mailing, sales meeting) Negotiates with other internal departments, in order to agree on new product opportunities or developments. Establish contacts with key influencers (advisers, retailers, importers, service providers) Monitor and follow up on customers' claims, problems (use the full knowledge of the Technical and R&D department), unpaid bills. Required knowledge and skills and personal qualities: 3 year experience in the field of apple growing, apple storage or fruit (apple) trade Proficiency in sales and full knowledge of the market Highly effective interpersonal skills Working in an international environment Bachelors or Masters degree, preferably (but not compulsory) in agronomy. The candidate could come from a commercial position from an industrial company in post harvest (e.g. ULO/CA), supplying company to the apple growing industry, trade or fruit marketing company or any company in the value chain of fruits or vegetables. Russian as mother language, good in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of a third language would be appreciated Personal skills: creative, flexible, self-confident, team player, enthusiastic and customer oriented. Strong communication skills, ability to convince customers to adapt to new revolutionary techniques. Strong commercial skills. Independence to reach set sales objectives Focused on result and customer satisfaction. Ability to manage and sell a technical service oriented product. Team spirit to interface with the rest of the team. Creativity to identify new opportunities. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Pro-active attitude and comfortable working in an international and dynamic organization Able to work “remote” most of the time.
